Carbon County Recreation Assistant Director Frank Ori recently received a donation from Emery Telcom for youth t-ball, soccer and flag football programs. Emery Telcom Director of Marketing Barbara Rasmussen, presented the $2,400 check to the recreation department to be used primarily for uniforms.
According to Ori, similar donations from the company have resulted in smaller fees for program participants. “With uniform costs covered, we are able to reduce the cost of some classes,” he explained. “This means more kids are able to participate in our programs.”
Emery Telcom has made similar donations to Emery County Recreation as well.
