CARBON COUNTY –The Carbon County Republican Party will host is County Convention Thursday night at the Carbon County Courthouse (751 E. 100 N. Price) at 7 p.m.
Although the convention voting will be limited to those who were elected as County Delegates, everyone is invited. Gov. Gary Herbert and Republican Challenger Jonathan Johnson will be speaking at the event.
“This is a great opportunity to hear from our governor and others involved in the race,” said Kendra Seeley, Carbon County Republican Party Chair.
The only countywide race that will be featured at the Convention is for County Commission, Commissioner Casey Hopes is running unopposed at the Convention for that seat.
