On Friday, the Rabbits came to town to face the Dinos on the diamond. Carbon dominated Delta in all aspects of the contest. Braxton Bennett mowed down opposing batters all night. He only needed 48 pitches to go 4.1 innings with five strikeouts while giving up just one hit.
On the offensive side, the ball must have looked huge as the Dinos pounded it all over the field. Collin Lewis went 3-3 with a double and had two steals. Ty Anderson recorded another triple to bump his season total to seven while going 3-4 on the day. Carbon had 15 hits in the game and 10-runned Delta for the 10-0 victory.
The Dinos (7-7, 6-0 Region 14) will take on the Union Cougars (9-8, 3-2 Region 14) twice this week. Carbon will play host on Tuesday and then travel to Roosevelt on Thursday. On Saturday, the Dinos will host a non-region game against the Summit Academy Bears (8-4, 4-2, Region 13).
