Regional and local science fair winners were announced recently. Students from Mont Harmon, Helper Jr. High, and Carbon High took part in the competitions.
The district science fair took place on January 10 at Mont Harmon Jr. High and included participants from Mont Harmon, Helper Jr. High, and Carbon High. Some of the competition categories were animal science, biochemistry, and product testing.
Top competitors moved on to compete at the regional science fair on March 22 in Cedar City. Carbon High School Science Teacher Dan Taylor accompanied the students on the trip. Some students will move on to the state level to compete.
