The Lady Dinos proved tough for Region 14’s leader as the team narrowly lost against the visiting Delta Rabbits on Tuesday.
Both teams relied heavily on defense in the first, going into the break scoreless. The lone goal of the game came in the second as Delta found the back of the net to take the game 1-0 and secure the shutout.
The loss puts Carbon in third in region 14 play, trailing behind Delta and Juab. The Dinos will look for redemption on the road next week as the team travels to take on Juab on Sept. 12 followed by a matchup against Union on Sept. 14.
