The Manti Templars came to town to face Carbon in a wrestling duel on Wednesday evening. The Templars won their first three matches before the teams traded the next two. The Dinos then reeled off three wins of their own. Manti took the next match but Carbon answered back with wins in the next two. In the end, the Dinos could not keep up in the upper weights and lost the last three matches to fall 46-36.
Taci Tapia (126), Robert Blake (138), Kolby Bedke (145), Conner Fausett (152), Jacob Barlow (170) and Tyson Hatch (182) all pinned their respective opponents. Blake, Bedke and Fausett all did so within the first 1:45 of their matches.
The Dinos next head to take on Deseret Hills in the Thunder Duels this weekend.
