After kicking the year off with a 3-0 record, the Carbon High Dinos football team suffered their first loss Friday night at the hands of North Sanpete. The Hawks defeated Carbon 27-7.
Energy was high at the homecoming game, but two quick touchdowns by North Sanpete set the Dinos back. By the half, Carbon was down 20-0.
A late fourth quarter touchdown by Dino quarterback Jarod Lessar, followed by a point after kick by Andrew Gagnon, put Carbon on the board. The rally was too late however, and the Dinos lost to the Hawks.
