For the Carbon High Dinos, the Friday night lights at Snow Canyon’s home field illuminated another loss for the team.

After a discouraging first half, the Dinos returned to the field with a score of 41-0. Digging in deep, however, the Dinos managed to finally put their own points on the board from a fumble recovery which changed the score to 48-7 at the end of the third.

The Snow Canyon Warriors managed to score a field goal in the fourth, which took the overall score to 51-7, which also served as the final score for the game.

Dino Nathan Olsen, who grabbed the spotlight in last week’s game versus Ben Lomond after putting up 100 yards rushing in addition to his 245 yards as a kick returner, continued the action and went 151 yards with 30 carries Friday night.

The Dinos will continue their action Friday at seven as the team hosts Hurricane. The following week at the same time, the team will compete in their homecoming game against long-time rivals the Emery High Spartans.
