Carbon FCCLA Members to Attend Nationals

Members of Carbon FCCLA traveled to the Utah State Leadership Conference in Layton on March 20-21. Members competed in STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events, attended workshops and more during the conference. While there, Carbon had five projects qualify for nationals.

Jordan Lupo and Crystal Nef competed with their project in Chapter Service and received gold and first place. Hailey Powell and Saydee Johnson also received gold and first place for their project in Chapter in Review.

Mason Rogers also received gold for his project in Career Investigation – Occupational and received second place. Abby Robertson brought home another gold and second place for her project in Job Interview. Tiffany Kinder and Hayley Feichko received second place and gold for their project in the senior division of Entrepreneurship.

Fawn Powell competed with her project in Career Investigation and received a gold. Canden Stockdale received a silver for his project in Leadership Occupational.

During the awards ceremony, Tiffany Kinder was also elected as a Utah FCCLA State Vice President of Social Media.

Those who qualified will compete at the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga. on June 28 – July 2, where Shaubre Stockdale will run to be one of 10 national FCCLA officers.
