In a heroic attempt to put up a victory under the Friday night lights, the Carbon High Dinos’ Friday tilt against the Hurricane Tigers ended in a crippling 25-0 defeat.
The non-region action took place on Carbon’s own field the week before Carbon’s homecoming, slated for next Friday against long-time rivals the Emery High Spartans.
The Dinos couldn’t blow past the defense put up by the Tigers, who scored a single touchdown in each quarter.
Carbon’s next shot at victory will come Friday evening at the team’s homecoming match against the Emery Spartans. As part of a special extended broadcast, be sure to tune in to ETV Channel 10 starting at 5 p.m. for exclusive interviews and other content only available during this special occasion.
Those who wish to take part in the festivities need only post a picture showing who you root for when the black and gold takes on the blue and white on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #etv10homecomingcontest. Starting at five, prizes will be awarded such as Skull Candy headphones, gift cards, exclusive merchandise and more!
Make sure to take part in the contest for the whole homecoming week, as daily winners will also be chosen in addition to a grand prize winner that will be announced at Friday’s game.
Contestants need not be students to participate, all residents of Castle Country are free to participate.
