The Carbon Fuel Softball Club competed in South Jordan, UT October 7 and 8, bringing home two championships. Carbon ’04 won the white bracket with a 6-0 record, beating out the Diamond Divas, also representing Carbon County. The Carbon ’03 team won the silver bracket with a 6-1 record, which included an epic three hour battle with the Utah Bat Busters from Salt Lake City.
The Carbon Fuel Softball Club was formed to push softball to the forefront in Carbon County. Teaching young ladies the game of softball, community pride, leadership, and forming friendships that will last a lifetime.
The Carbon Fuel coaches would like to thank all of the parents and families of our players. The hours of driving and the money spent to pack our side of the bleachers in support of these girls has not gone unnoticed, but most of all, we would like to thank our girls. The way you have grown together as teammates is the greatest gift you could give to a coach. You are all amazing young ladies, great students, and athletes. The way you represent your community through sportsmanship and your determination to play your best every time you step on the field is unsurpassed.
Championships are earned through blood, sweat, bruises, sore knees, and arms. These will all heal and go away, but you will always be champions.
Congratulations ladies, you have earned it!
