On Saturday afternoon, the Lady Dinos hosted Uintah in a non-region matchup. Carbon put the first points on the board and earned a 46-33 win. It was the third-straight victory for the Lady Dinos. On Dec. 27, they beat Pineview 42-29 and on Dec. 28 they overtook Snow Canyon 51-34.
Shelby Cornforth scored 11 points for the Dinos. Jordan Scoggins had nine points, five rebounds, six assists and five steals. Lindsey Blanc also had a good game with seven points, four boards, four steals and three assists. Beth Child pulled in eight boards with three points and two assists. Katie Basinger added seven points.
The Lady Dinos will be at home against Grantsville on Tuesday and Juan Diego on Friday. Both varsity games start at 7 p.m.
