Carbon’s girls tennis team took on Payson on Thursday for a region matchup at home. Despite improved play and drive, the Dinos fell to the Lions.
“Payson ended up winning everything but the Carbon girls did a great job,” coach Tom Alleman commented. “They are improving and the three singles all did a great job. The JV is also coming along great.”
Alleman explained that the team will work to improve doubles team and hopefully achieve more cohesion before their next game. Carbon will take to the road next week to compete against North Sanpete and Richfield.
