What started as a promising run for Carbon’s volleyball team fizzled quickly after the first set in Tuesday’s Region 12 match against Juab.
The Lady Dinos began strong, taking the first set 25-19. Afterward, however, the team gave up the next three sets to their opponents, ending each set with a 25-14 final score.
Carbon’s remaining games will be played on its home court, the first of which will be against Richfield. The faceoff will take place on Thursday with varsity action slated for 6:30 that evening.
