The Carbon High marching band ended its competition season over the weekend in St. George, competing in the Red Rocks Marching Band Invitational.
The competition took place at Dixie State University and Dixie High School, where Carbon competed in the 3A division. Under the direction of Adam Cunningham and Chris Sweeney, the band presented their “Night Music” program, including song selections from “The Phantom of the Opera” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Scoring for the competition was based off of various performances elements, including visuals, color guard, percussion ensembles and music selections.
