The Carbon High high school band hosted its annual Christmas concert Thursday night.
Community members were captivated by performances from the symphonic band, wind and percussion ensemble and jazz band. All played holiday music.
The symphonic band led the orchestra with “Christmas at the Circus,” Catalonian Carol” and “Winter on Emerald Bay.”
The wind ensemble then played “Christmas Vacation” and “A Mad Russian’s Christmas.” A “Grown up Christmas List” was accompanied by vocal soloist Ben Jones.
The percussion ensemble continued the holiday cheer with “Deck Them Halls,” arranged by Chris Crockarell.
The jazz band led a breathtaking performance with “A Chili Pepper Christmas” and “Trombones Under the Tree.”
The Carbon High band is directed by Tana Jensen.
