Those that were eager for a unique cinematic experience on Monday evening flocked not to the local movie theater, but to the Carbon High School auditorium for the choirs’ performance of “Night at the Movies.”
This anticipated event welcomed many to pack the seats while the various choirs donned costumes, performed choreography and crooned viewer’s favorites from movies old and new.
Those in attendance were able to recognize classics such as “We Will Rock You” and “Singing in the Rain,” as well as new favorites such as Pitch Perfect 2’s “Flashlight.” The various costumes, props and choreographed dances led to assist in a movie-going feel with a twist.
