On Friday, Carbon High hosted an assembly as the finale to their annual Carbon Christmas fundraiser. This year, the school raised $22,803.90 in cash donations, food and gifts throughout the fall semester.

The money earned through the event will be donated to various organizations throughout the community, specifically United Way and Spencer’s Wishes. The money that was donated to United Way will help to provide Christmas gifts to children in need this holiday season.

The fundraising efforts were organized by Carbon High School student government while multiple organizations at the school took part. This massive contribution to local nonprofits shows the generosity that is abundant in Carbon County.
