“The Great Gatsby,” a beloved novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, came to life Saturday night as Carbon High School students hosted their junior class prom with the novel as its theme. The students were able to dance the night away amidst the special atmosphere created in Fitzgerald’s classic tale.
Before the dance, a promenade was held for junior class men as well as a special dance devoted to the Prom royalty as well as one between parents and students.
Kolton Cave was named as the 2016 prom king with Ryan Jannoud and AJ Adams being named as first and second attendants, respectively. Chloe Teuscher was named as the prom queen with first attendant Lindsey Blanc and second attendant Hanna Mills.
