Carbon High Students Compete at FCCLA National Competition

A group of Carbon Dinos traveled to Washington DC to to participate in the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) National Competition in early July.

Students attended dynamic workshops and break-out sessions, participated in STAR Events, met new people and expanded their leadership potential. The group also visited various DC attractions, including the National Mall, Arlington National Cemetery and visits to Utah Congressmen on Capitol Hill.

Leah Brandt competed in the Chapter Service in Action Display event and received a gold medal. Trista Kister took part in the Chapter Service in Action Portfolio event and received a silver medal. Earning another silver medal was Tanner Richardsen in Job Interview along with Canden Stockdale in Career Investigation. Mason Rogers and Dallon Lessar also received silver medals in Leadership Service in Action and Sports Nutrition, respectively. Danyan Morrison and Sarah Cook received a bronze medal in Food Innovations.
