Students from Carbon High School learned more about archaeology during a recent volunteer project for Nine Mile Canyon.
Project leaders invited students to take part in the first two days of the lab work that will be conducted this winter. Students joined Tim Riley and Jody Patterson at the USU Eastern campus archaeology lab to take part in the efforts.
Next month, students from the Project Discovery program will be assisting project leaders with documenting and curating artifacts.
