On Wednesday morning, the student government at Carbon High teamed with the American Red Cross to conduct a blood drive at the school. By mid-morning, Mr. Krause said that the stream of students, parents and teachers had been steady and they were happy with the turnout.

Students could donate blood if they were over 16 and had a signed permission slip. Anyone 18 and over could give blood without parental permission.
