Carbon and Emery met with various rodeo teams throughout the state in the arena on Friday.
Teams competed in tie down, breakaway, goats, poles, barrels, bareback, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc and bulls.
The competition will continue in Castle Dale Saturday at 9 a.m. Cow cutting will take place approximately one hour after the rodeo.
