The Carbon Varsity team and Scout team both lost to the visiting Payson team Thursday night by a combined score of 16-5.
The Scout team lost 12-2 while Payson slipped past the Varsity team 4-3.
Both will be in action Monday evening at Wasatch while the Scout team will travel to Payson on Tuesday for a couple of makeup games. A scheduled doubleheader against Orem Wednesday in Helper has been tentatively canceled because of the holiday weekend.
