The Southeast Utah Health Department and Utah Million Hearts Coalition recently honored Carbon Medical Service as being the 2019 Blood Pressure Control Champions.
“The Utah Million Hearts Coalition, in conjunction with the national Centers for Disease Control Million Hearts® initiative, aims to prevent heart attacks and strokes by improving blood pressure measurement and control,” the organization shares. “The coalition is working toward this goal by encouraging and recognizing excellence in hypertension management. The current focus is on improving the accuracy of blood pressure measurement in Utah.”
Presented at the East Carbon office, Carbon Medical Service was highlighted for offering their clients excellency in all health care standards. Members of the health department personally presented the recognition certificate to staff members at Carbon Medical Service last week.
