Carbon Country Recreation hosted the final tumbling meet of the 2017 season on May 23.
At the competition, tumblers from Carbon County Recreation and Pineau’s Tumbling and Trampoline Team (PT3) competed in the acro pose category, power tumbling and trampoline.
Ethan Hensen, Ava Braby, Grace Hardy, Kambryn Iriart and Molly Staley all took home two first-place finishes.
Brooklyn Martinez, Shylo Braby, Jaycie Rigby, Mersadie Oveson, Mattie Prichard, Ansley Staley, Shawntae Nanajo all finished with high marks, earning a first-place and a second-place finish each.
With two, second-place finishes apiece, Dallas Staley, Naomi Smith and Bridger Christensen each finished the competition on the podium.
Kenneth Jensen also did well with a first and third-place finish along with Whittley Austin, who ended the day with the same standings. Axel Kronandonk and Jady Christensen each took home second and third-place titles.
McKay Christensen rounded out the competition with second and fourth-place finishes followed by Brayden Black and Kina Kranendonk with two third-place finishes apiece. Brylei Velasquez completed the scores for the local teams with a third and fourth-place title.
The competitors are coached by Pineau Nielsen, Haylie Powell and Ayden Nielsen.
