Carbon School District Honors Employees and Teachers

The Carbon School District (CSD) recently recognized one teacher and one employee of the district for their exemplary work.

Kristina Anderson of Sally Mauro Elementary was named the Carbon School District Teacher of the Year while Wendy Grant of Wellington Elementary received the title of the Carbon School District Classified Employee of the Year.

Also recognized were the other teachers for each respective school: Bruin Point Elementary, Robin Trujillo; Carbon High School, Troy Moynier; Castle Heights Elementary, Moira Madrid; Castle Valley Center, Cindy Smith; Creekview Elementary, Alisha Hansen; Helper Middle School, Belinda Oliver; Lighthouse High, Wes Thompson; Mont Harmon Middle School, Rebecca Van de Sluis; and Wellington Elementary, Brenna Penry.

The other employees of the year for each school were also honored, starting with Bruin Point Elementary’s Nickole McCarty; Carbon High School, Traci Iriart; Castle Heights Elementary, NaCole Gehrig; Castle Valley Center, Carrie Timothy; Creekview Elementary, Lisa Torres; Helper Middle School, Frank Vigil; Lighthouse High, Mandi Bryner; Mont Harmon Middle School, Tami Rowley; and Sally Mauro Elementary’s Bert Barney.
