Free lunch is available for children in the area and will take place from now until August 9. Carbon School District supports the free lunch program each summer to ensure that the community’s youth always has the option for proper nourishment.

Monday through Friday the Castle Valley Center will serve breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Bruin Point Elementary serves lunch at 11:30-12:30 p.m. Sally Mauro Elementary serves lunch from 11-12:30 p.m. All children under 18 eat for free and baby food is also available. Adults may eat for $3.50.

Only two rules apply to the lunch program: lunch must be consumed on site and adults may not eat off a child’s plate.

Come in to any of the previously mentioned schools for a healthy, summertime meal.
