The Carbon Dinos fell to 0-2 in the 3A North play Friday night after suffering a 44-0 loss to the visiting Morgan Trojans.
Morgan recorded a safety on Carbon’s first offensive possession en route to 16 first-quarter points. The Trojans added 14 more in the second to take a 30-0 lead into halftime.
Carbon’s defense stiffened in the third to keep Morgan off the board. Morgan tallied two more TDs in the fourth to run away with the win.
Carbon (3-3, 0-2 3A North) will welcome Judge Memorial (5-1, 2-0 3A North), who beat Grantsville 42-14, next Friday at 7 p.m.
