The Carbon Dinos got their first win of the soccer season on Wednesday as the team dominated San Juan. The win came on the Dinos’ home turf as the Broncos visited Price.
In the matchup, Carbon put in a season-high seven goals. The Dinos only allowed one goal to slip past as they handed the Broncos a 7-1 loss.
Next up, the Dinos traveled to Moab on Friday to take on the Red Devils.
Carbon only allowed one goal in the first half but were unable to score any themselves and went into halftime down one. Grand erupted for four goals in the second half to put the game out of reach. Carbon did get a lone score in the half, but it prove insufficient.
Carbon (0-7, 0-2 Region 14) will look for another win when it faces Union (0-7-1, 0-2 Region 14) on Wednesday. That game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 and online at 3:30 p.m.
