The Lady Dinos edged out a visiting Union team on Tuesday as the two met for a matchup in Price.
Carbon came out with two goals in the first as Union responded by putting one on the board, taking the teams to 2-1 at the break. Both teams came back in the second and notched one apiece, giving the Lady Dinos a narrow 3-2 win over the Cougars.
Three Dinos put numbers on the board, including Elley Cowdell, Grace Broadbear and Ryan Brady. Cowdell leads Carbon in scoring with three goals on the young season.
The Lady Dinos will have a quick turnaround as the team travels to Providence Hall on Thursday. Carbon will then return to its home field next week as it welcomes Maeser Prep to a matchup on Aug. 29.
