The Carbon High Dinos traveled to Mount Pleasant on Friday where they faced off against the North Sanpete Hawks and took the victory, 8-4.
Carbon lagged behind in the first, ending it 4-3 behind North Sanpete. The Blue and White responded strongly with Chase Morgan taking the mound for six of the seven innings. Carbon would score again in the second, fourth and seventh to take their grand total to eight.
Senior Gavin Robinett as well as teammate Cody Lowe each scored a double during the round of Region 12 action.
Carbon will next host opponent Canyon View Tuesday in a doubleheader slated to begin at 3 p.m.
