The Lady Dinos headed to Monroe on Tuesday to play the South Sevier Rams. Carbon came out sluggish and was quickly down a set after losing 25-12. In the second set, Carbon bounced back to knot it up at one with a 25-13 win.
The next two sets were extremely close but the Lady Dinos were never able to overcome South Sevier. They lost 25-22 and 25-23 to drop the match 3-1.
Gracie Salas, Emma Christensen and Diana Morley all had double-digit kills with 14, 13 and 10, respectively. Morley and Sophie Noyes led Carbon with two blocks apiece while Makenna Blanc had 44 assists.
The Lady Dinos will next compete in the SVC Tournament this weekend in Richfield.
