Carbon Water Conservancy District has a block of Scofield Reservoir Water Shares available for lease for the upcoming 2023 irrigation season with potential lease options for subsequent year(s). Shares are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of $25.00 per share. Anyone leasing these shares for the 2023 season may be able to lease shares based on the following terms:
Group 1 – Shares for the 2023 season only. (1 year only)
Group 2 – Shares for the 2023 season with first right of refusal for the same number of shares at prevailing rates for the 2024 irrigation season. (2 years)
Group 3 – Shares for the 2023 season with first right of refusal for the same number of shares at prevailing rates for the 2024 and 2025 irrigation seasons. (3 years)
It is the intent of the Conservancy District to split the block of shares into 3 revolving Groups with each Group representing approximately 1/3 of the total block owned by the District.
