The Castle Country Quilters gathered at the Carbon County Fair on Friday to host their annual quilt show for fair goers.
The free show featured a year’s worth of quilting from the local group. Made up of about 40 quilters, the group quilts throughout the year for friends, family and members of the community. The Castle Country Quilters are also known for providing children quilts for local law enforcement to distribute and to military personnel from the area.
The annual show featured a raffle, quilt displays and a “Best of Show” competition. One of the highlights of the show was a quilt from the 1700s that made the trek across the prairie to Utah.
