Castle Country high schoolers took a trip and visited Grand High earlier this week to compete at a quiz bowl tournament.
Varsity and junior varsity competitors represented Emery High School. The JV team did well, earning second place, while varsity did not place.
The Carbon Dinos also performed well, with the JV team taking first place and the varsity team coming in third. The JV team beat Emery in the last round to go undefeated.
“They did a wonderful job answering some extremely difficult question to earn places,” stated Stefanie Dixon about the CHS team.
