The tight-knit community of Helper City is used to the city’s Main Street often having sections closed off to host fun and exciting events for all to enjoy. This occurrence took place once again on Saturday afternoon as a sizable section of the street was cordoned off for Halloween fun.

The second annual trunk or treat event, spearheaded by Helper City Councilwoman Malarie Matsuda, featured many vehicles from local businesses, entities and individuals including Utah’s Foster Care, Three Little Llamas, Helper City Mayor Lenise Peterman and much more.

The vehicles were donned with themes such as carnival, Harry Potter, Day of the Dead and a plethora of others. Trick-or-treaters of all ages flocked to the event to gather candy, toys and other various prizes. Games such as a basketball toss, ring toss and wheel spin were also featured at the event.
