The annual June Jamboree took place over the weekend, beginning with a barbecue at the park. Following the barbecue, free snow cones and popcorn were given out as the crowd filled up the stands at the rodeo grounds. The Kid’s Rodeo was next with Chicken Chases, Pig Chases, Stick Horse Races and the Cash Cow event.
The events brought many laughs and entertainment as the youth was enjoying themselves diving in the dirt. Winners of the events won cash prizes and the very animals they caught.
After the festivities, the community enjoyed some more free popcorn and cotton candy as they enjoyed a movie under the moonlight at the park. The next day, starting at Cheddar Field, was the ATV ride. Concluding the Jamboree was hot dogs and chips at the park and another movie to finish off the fun-filled weekend.
