The Emery County Business Chamber hosted Castle Valley Small Engine’s ribbon cutting in Castle Dale Saturday afternoon.
Owner Brett White and wife Jessica are excited to return home and start their newest adventure of owning a small business. Graduates from Emery High, Brett and Jessica left the area to receive a higher education. Brett attended technical school in Salt Lake City, focusing on small engine and motorcycle repairs.
After five years of working for someone else and fixing small engines on the side, Brett branched out and opened his own business, Brett White’s Repairs, in 2016. In March, the Whites moved back home and changed the name to Castle Valley Small Engine. He purchased a piece of land on East Main in Castle Dale and began to build a shop. The first new building on Main Street in Castle Dale in several years, the community gladly welcomed the new business.
Brett repairs and services all small engines. He also sells motorcycles and ATVs as well as gear, helmets and googles. Saturday’s grand opening featured such items as Castle Valley Small Engine hosted a giveaway with various prizes for those in attendance.
Customers can find Castle Valley Small Engine at 440 East Main in Castle Dale or lean more by calling (435) 381-5282.
