The students of Castle Heights assembled in the auditorium of the school on Friday afternoon to present to their fellow students, teachers and family a variety of Christmas songs.
The sing-along went by grade, with each grade standing at its own time and singing a song for the crowd to enjoy. In between each grade singing, principal Winfree delighted the students and crowd with cute slideshows of the teachers of each grade doing silly Christmas-themed activities as well.
At the end of the sing-along, all of the students of the school stood and thrilled the parents and watching teachers with a rendition of the famous Louis Armstrong song “What a Wonderful World.” Once the singing had finished, the children were treated with a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
