Students at Castle Heights got a special treat Friday afternoon as they turned principal Chris Winfree into human spaghetti.
Students that read 20-30 minutes each night for the month of January had the opportunity to throw pasta noodles at principal Chris Winfree. This activity was part of the school’s read-before-bed program.
The Castle Heights PTA presented the students with this opportunity. Knights who turn in their reading calendars are able to participate in a monthly activity.
Teachers were able to top principal Winfree off with sauce and had the Knights attempt to get the pasta noodles stuck to the sauce.
“The kids are motivated by these activities and the kids look forward to torturing Mr. Winfree,” said Rachel Staley, Castle Heights’ PTA President.
