Castle Heights Student Government Dumps Water on Principal for Charity

Castle Heights students gathered on the school field Friday afternoon to witness their principal participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Bruin Point Elementary Principal Stacy Basinger issued a challenge to all Carbon elementary school principals to participate in the event to raise money for ALS research. Castle Heights Elementary Principal Mrs. Martineau accepted and had newly elected members of the student government do the honors.

Earlier in the day, student government election results were announced and Braxtin Henrie was named president, Mason Frame vice president and Hunter Gleave secretary. Kaylie Basso, Madison Phillips, Kaydance Scovill, Dougie Larsen and Mikell Furner will all serve as representatives this school year.
