The students at Castle Heights Elementary have been working hard throughout the end of the year. Recently, 351 Castle Heights Knights turned in their reading calendars for the month of April, earning them a special treat to cap off the school year.
Principal Chris Winfree saw this as something that needed to be rewarded. To congratulate his students for their hard work, he allowed them to lob, throw and launch water balloons at him on Thursday afternoon behind the school.
Students from all grades met outside and took turns lobbing balloons at the principal as he sat patiently with protective gear.
