The Desert Wave Pool recently played host to the Castle Valley Barracudas swim meet. This was the final meet before the Thanksgiving holiday and welcomed many teams throughout Utah.
Those that competed in this meet, hosted on Nov. 16, swam in divisions such as the mixed 10&U 100 yard medley relay, the boys’ 9-10 50 yard back, the mixed 8&U 50 yard free and many more.
For the mixed 10&U 100 yard medley relay, Madeline Flores, Andrea Swasey, Lily Flores and Kody Keller of the CVB-UT Team finished in first place on relay A with a final time of 1:28.68. In the mixed 11-12 200 yard medley relay, Mason Engar, Evelyn Halk, Blythe Bradford and Maddison Nielson of CBV-UT also took first place in relay A with a time of 2:48.37.
