Division of Wildlife Resources and the U.S. Forest Service hosted a free fishing event for persons with disabilities on Wednesday at Gigliotti Pond in Helper. Students from Castle Valley Center attended the event as well as many other residents with disabilities.
Wildlife officers assisted participants with baiting hooks, casting and fishing techniques while Forest Service personnel cleaned the day’s catch. Volunteers and participants alike shared smiles and laughs at the event.
