Castle Valley Center celebrated graduate Dalton Allred at the center’s graduation ceremony on Thursday afternoon.
The ceremony began with a procession of the graduate and was followed by a presentation of the colors from Boy Scout Troop 855. The school choir, under the direction of Carly Wood, sang the “Star Spangled Banner.”
Carbon County School District Special Education Director Monica Lewis and Human Resource Director Robert Cox gave remarks about Allred and his time at Castle Valley Center. Allred’s mother, Camie Stilson, prepared a video tribute that was shown during the ceremony.
Following the video, Castle Valley Center Principal Michael Keller presented Allred with his diploma. Allred now has the opportunity to participate in the center’s adult program in the upcoming school year.
