The Castle Valley Civic Ballet debuted its production of “The Nutcracker” to a full audience on opening night. Thursday’s performance marked the kick off of the fourth annual Christmas production by CVCB.
Stephanie Richards heads this year’s production as the artistic director, a role she has held since the Castle Valley Civic Ballet began its annual tradition four years ago. Nearly 120 dancers from throughout Carbon and Emery counties make the production possible along with various directors, mentors and parental support.
“The Nutcracker” will continue at Mont Harmon Middle School on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. nightly. A special matinee performance will highlight Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
