The community welcomed Castle Valley Orthodontics’ newest member, Dr. Blake Hillstead, following the retirement of Dr. Paul Broadwater. The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce along with members of the community joined the welcoming party at a ribbon cutting hosted on Wednesday.

A former Utah resident, Dr. Hillstead has found his way back to the Beehive State and into Castle Country to practice orthodontics at Castle Valley Orthodontics.

“We were thrilled to be able to return home to Utah to practice orthodontics,” Dr. Hillstead said. “I really feel at home in Carbon and Emery counties because I am used to living in a smaller community.”

At Castle Valley Orthodontics, Dr. Hillstead worked closely with Dr. Broadwater for a time. The transition then began for Dr. Broadwater to turn the reins over to Dr. Hillstead, who now provides the care for all patients who visit Castle Valley Orthodontics.

Patients can find traditional braces as well as newer options such as Invisalign or clear braces at Castle Valley Orthodontics. Clear (ceramic) braces offer a treatment that is less noticeable than metal brackets.

Castle Valley Orthodontics can be found in the Castle Valley Dental Specialist building located at 391 North 400 East in Price. For more information or to make an appointment with Castle Valley Orthodontics, please call (435) 637-2222 or visit castlevalleyorthodontics.com.
