The opening weekend of the 2018 Castle Valley Pageant attracted audiences from near and far as the traditional production took place.
The pageant is an elaborate, historical drama that portrays the settling of Castle Valley in an outdoor setting. Prior to the production each night, attendees can enjoy the Pioneer Village, where guests learn about the tools necessary for a pioneer settlement to survive, such as blacksmithing, pioneer treats, prairie diamonds, farming with horse-drawn implements, weaving and spinning.
The Castle Valley Pageant will continue Aug. 7–11. The production is appropriate for all ages with the Pioneer Village starting at 6:30 p.m. and the pageant getting underway at 8:30 p.m.
