Staff at Castleview Hospital and Eagle Air Med participated in an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Thursday afternoon. Instead of sticking to the traditional bucket method, an Emery County fire truck was used to douse participants with cold water.
Buckets were on hand to gather donations for the ALS Association who will use funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis research.
Castleview and Eagle Air Med staff were able to raise a significiant amount of money and challenged Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal to raise more money and to take on the ice bucket challenge.
